It’s Friday evening, the last email has been sent. Two hours later, your car is parked in front of a house at 1,100 meters above sea level, with nothing beyond it but forest.
This is not a place where you miss out on anything. There is simply nothing to miss. That’s exactly the point. Sleep in. Head out whenever you feel like it, or don’t. In the evening, dinner is ready for you, without having had to search for a table first. On Monday morning, you drive back home and notice the difference.

The Forest Does the Work.
Forest bathing is not an activity on the agenda here. It is the location itself. The hotel is set right in the Ammerwald, not merely on its edge. Open the door, and the trail begins.
What happens next has been well researched: forest air helps lower cortisol levels, reduces blood pressure, and strengthens the immune system. You do not need a guided session or a seminar for that. You need two days and a place where nobody expects anything from you. Reutte is not a mass tourism destination. Even in autumn, the trails remain quiet and uncrowded. The renowned Lechweg trail starts right outside the door.
